I have been started using LinkedIn in December 2020 and from then till now I have always grown by using this platform.
If you don’t know about LinkedIn let me share some of the glimpses of it.
LinkedIn: It is a platform that helps you land opportunities like internships and jobs. You can directly connect with HR and hiring managers of the company you wish to apply to and get to network with some of the amazing people there.
So let me share some of the secrets to make your profile stand out from the crowd and grab the attention of HR.

- Profile Creation
a) Profile Picture: A great picture to let know people that they are connected with humans.
b) Headline: Share your uniqueness here or the experience you have.
c) Background/Banner Image: You can share your thought process here with illustrations and pictures. So that any person would know that you are following this.
d) Contact Info: You can share your contact details related to email, portfolio, and any other links you would like to share according to your niche.
e) Story: Here share a video your why people should connect with you or follow you and what value you can provide to them.
f) Featured Post: Here you should share your most important post related to your experiences, learnings, or any achievement. Also, you can add a Resume here
g) About Section: This section should contain what you are as a person, the skills you possess, and the experience you have. This section should be concise, clear, and optimize with pointers.
h) Experience: Share your experiences whether you have done an internship, done research work, full-time jobs, contributed to an open source program, freelancing, or volunteer work, and share how you have contributed while working with this company or team. Link your proof.
i) Education: Share your education details here
j) Certifications: Share your certifications here if you have done any related to learning any skills. eg: I have learned Python from Datacamp then after completing the course I got the certificate of completion so I added it there.
k) Skills: Add your skills here and tell other people to endorse your skills.
l) Recommendations: Get the recommendations from the people who you have worked with during your internships, freelance work, or full-time to land more opportunities.
m) Accomplishments: Try to mention all your achievements here. Mention the Awards you have got, and the projects you have made.

a) Content Creation: Share your content here if you are learnings any skills or any thoughts that you think people should know. Being consistent here is a must to grow the profile and provide value through your content.
Also include tags.

Create a Poll for more engagement.
b) How to message other people: Connect with others and reach up to 500+ connections and also connect with your college seniors. Add a note while connecting with others. Message smartly one’s you get connected with others and give more than you take.
c) Jobs & Internships: Don’t apply directly to jobs & internships you can take a referral from the employees working there which increases your chances of getting you an interview or test link.
